A month back we heard that the Redmi K30 smartphone would come with 5G support and a punch-hole display selfie camera. Now, a month later Xiaomi has confirmed the device called “K30” which might have a PRO variant as well.
The news was shared by Lu Weibing via Weibo following a post about the China Worldwide Partner Conference and Redmi’s brief history with the partner, Weibing ended with: In 2020, Redmi is a 5G pioneer. See you at K30!
Along with a small chart displaying Redmi devices amongst its competitors in China.
The Redmi K30 is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7250 chipset that would allow the device to have “Dual 5G standby support”. It is also expected that Redmi K30 would be having the dual-selfie camera (Don’t forget the punch-hole display). To give an idea on dual-selfie camera: It’s somewhat the same as what you see in the Samsung S10+.
